In just a few short weeks, the AEMA‑ARRA‑ISSA Annual Meeting will be underway in Austin, and 2026 ARRA Program Chair, Mark Stahl,has assembled a strong lineup for this year’s ARRA Technical Session. ARRA’s session will take place on Friday, February 20 from 12:30 - 3:30 PM.
Kicking off the session will be Stephen Sebesta with an update on the History and Successes of FDR in Texas, followed by Kit Black discussing Texas DOT Roadway Recycling & Reclaiming – Success in the Amarillo District. Attendees will also hear from Jim Trost on employee wellness and company culture as a model for retention, and Buzz Powell will close the session with insights into Recycling Strategies Recognized in the Perpetual Pavement Awards Program.
In addition to the Technical Session, ARRA will host several committee meetings throughout the week. The Cold Recycling and Marketing & Membership Committees meet Thursday morning, followed by the ARRA Annual Business Meeting at 1:30 PM. and the HIR Committee Meeting at 2:30 PM. On Friday, the Cold Planing Committee will meet at 9:00 AM, and the FDR Committee will gather at 10:00 AM.
ARRA encourages all attendees to participate in these committee meetings to stay informed about ongoing initiatives and connect with colleagues across the recycling and reclaiming disciplines.
