A Letter from President, Bryan Ray

ARRA Member,

As we approach the end of another construction season, I hope that everyone at had a safe and successful year. On behalf of the Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association (ARRA), I want to thank you for your continued membership and commitment to advancing our sustainable pavement solutions. Your support has been instrumental in helping us grow, strengthen relationships, and provide greater value to our members and partners.

Strategic Progress & Sustainability

Over the past year, ARRA has continued building momentum in areas that directly support our members and the future of our industry. Building on our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) efforts, we are moving closer to developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These will position our members at the forefront of the “Buy Clean” movement and ensure our disciplines remain leaders in delivering proven, sustainable solutions. We are proud of the strong engagement from members who have contributed data and expertise to make this initiative possible.

In alignment with our Board’s strategic plan, ARRA has also expanded outreach to user agencies and key partners, strengthening collaboration and promoting the benefits of recycling and reclaiming. Our committees continue to focus on member engagement, technical development, and communication strategies that enhance industry visibility.

Membership Growth & Engagement

ARRA membership has grown in both contractor and agency participation. The tiered membership structure for contractors and suppliers has helped attract regional contractors and suppliers, while our free government memberships ensure agencies stay connected to our work and benefit from access to technical resources, conference presentations, and the BARM. This growth directly reflects our mission to create value and deliver “Responsible, Renewal, Reliable Results.”

Upcoming Meetings & Events

We are excited to announce the 2026 Pavement Recycling Summit will take place in Las Vegas at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino on October 19-22! This milestone event will set the stage for the future of pavement recycling – bringing together industry leaders, agencies, and partners to explore innovative solutions and strategies that drive our industry forward.

Our next Annual Meeting with our PPRA partners (AEMA and ISSA) will be held in Austin, Texas, February 17-20, 2026.
