A Message from President, Bryan Ray

Dear ARRA Members,

I hope this message finds you all well. As the newly appointed President of the Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association (ARRA), I am both honored and excited to serve this incredible organization. I would like to begin by expressing my sincere gratitude to Jason for his dedication and leadership as ARRA’s past president. His time at the helm has been instrumental in advancing our mission and guiding ARRA through significant milestones. Thank you, Jason, for your unwavering commitment and for setting such a strong foundation for us to build on.

I’m also thrilled to introduce Ben Bowers as our new Technical Advisor. Ben brings a wealth of experience and a forward-thinking approach that will be invaluable as we continue to push for excellence and innovation within the industry. I look forward to working closely with him in this new chapter.

In addition, I’d like to take a moment to recognize Steve Cross for receiving the prestigious President’s Award. Over the past decade, Steve has poured his expertise and passion into his role as ARRA’s Technical Director, and his contributions have been immeasurable. We are truly grateful for his service, and I am delighted that he is being honored for his outstanding work.

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events and initiatives on the horizon. Our upcoming Pavement Recycling Summit in Franklin, TN, October 20-23, promises to be a fantastic opportunity for learning, networking, and sharing ideas. I hope to see many of you there to discuss the latest advancements in our field and continue building our community.

Additionally, we are making great strides with the addition of a couple new committee chairs. I am pleased to announce the appointment of the new Chairs for both the CIR (Cold In-Place Recycling) Committee, Mat Nayagam, The Miller Group and the Cold Planing Committee, Rick Andreatos, Pavement Recycling Systems. These committees are crucial to the work we do, and I’m confident that the leadership in place will drive forward meaningful progress in these areas.

As we embark on this exciting year, I encourage each of you to engage with ARRA and take full advantage of the resources and opportunities we offer. Together, we can continue to lead the industry and make a lasting impact.
