Preview ARRA’s Technical Session at the Annual Meeting

Kim Stokes, ARRA Program Chair, has worked along side the sub-committee to focus ARRA’s Technical Session on ARRA’s disciplines in the host state.

The ARRA Technical Session will be held on Wednesday, February 23^rd from 2-5pm PST. Attendees will first hear from Allen King, P.E., California Department of Transportation, on a DOT’s perspective on the current state and future of recycling pavements in California. Next, Bill Morgan, P.E., Department of Public Works-County of San Diego, will share advancements in the use of pavement recycling strategies in the San Diego region. Michael Concannon, Pavement Recycling Systems, will share how City of Industry, California’s uses Cold Central Plant Recycling (CCPR) in recent projects. Lastly, the 2022 Hot In-Place Recycling Award Winner, City and County of Denver will share how HIR was used in the largest asphalt paving project in Colorado that was completed in the 2020-2021 construction season.

ARRA’s Hot In-Place and Cold Recycling Committee Meetings and Annual Business Meetings will be held on Wednesday as well. On Thursday, February 24^th, attendees can attend ARRA’s Cold Planing, Full Depth Reclamation, and Marketing Committee Meetings.
