ARRA's Marketing Committee Sets Goals

Since May, the Marketing Committee has been busy working with the Board of Directors on setting up deliverables that fit and full fill the vision of ARRA during its first year. The committee provided 12 different efforts to the Board and asked for their top three efforts they would like the committee to focus on. After the Boards review, the Marketing Committee will focus on the following:

1. Aggressively promoting and selling the environmental benefits of ARRA technologies. This one task will be a heavy lift and will require a lot of guidance and technical review from the Sustainability Committee. Dan Schellhammer, Midstate Reclamation & Trucking, and Stephanie Drain, S. Drain Engineering of IL, LLC, will lead this effort.
   
   
2. Better access to the BARM by electronic delivery corridors. The committee is committed to working on better Search Engine Optimization (SEO), so when agency and consulting engineers search the web regarding any ARRA technologies and/or process, ARRA resources such as the BARM and membership are front and center along with the PPRA information. Scott Metcalf, Ergon, will work with ARRA staff to accomplish this.

3. Finally, The Board all so requested that the Marketing Committee establish a template for One-Day Workshops that ARRA Members can use regionally to promote all ARRA Disciplines.  This effort will be led by John Morgan, Ingevity, Steve Olson, Western Emulsions, and Scott Metcalf, Ergon.
