ARRA’s New Marketing Committee Starts Planning Ways to Support ARRA

In March 2021, ARRA’s new Marketing Committee held its first meeting. During this call, Scott Metcalf, Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, was nominated as Committee Chair and John Morgan, Ingevity, was nominated as Co-Chair.

Metcalf and Morgan, as along with the rest of the committee are eager to begin establishing clear goals and planning out how they can best accomplish these in their first year. One of the committee’s main focuses will be supporting and working alongside ARRA’s CORE Committees to further their reach and support of members.

Metcalf and Morgan then met with all ARRA CORE Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs to discuss specifics ways the Marketing Committee can support them. It was discussed that the Marketing and CORE Committees need to continue to keep ARRA’s mission at the forefront, to Promote. Educate. Lead. With this in mind, the committees will work together to continue to promote educational webinars both in ARRA and PPRA’s partnership with FHWA, promote the Annual and Semi-Annual Meetings to members, non-members, and agencies, and continue to share ARRA’s education material which includes the BARM and various brochures.

The Marketing Committee will continue review other items discussed and prioritize additional goals for the upcoming year.
