A Letter From ARRA President Eric Baker

To my fellow members,

So… anybody ready for next year?!? 

In all seriousness, 2020 has been unusual to say the least and I know it has been a very difficult for many both professionally and personally.  The holiday season is a good time though, to reflect and remind ourselves that we have much to be thankful for and I hope you feel the same way.  I, for one, am thankful for our wonderful members and partners to this association that have helped guide us through these challenging times.  This year would have been much more challenging and likely impossible without you. 

Rick, Ali and Anne with CM Services as well as Lindsay and Grace at Vario have really stepped up and driven us to provide even more value for our members in these challenging times.  Our Virtual Semi-Annual meeting was very successful with wonderful turnout and participation.  The feedback from attendees was extremely positive. 

We have also continued to grow our presence with RoadResource.org and have been successful in building the leading resource in the industry according to users.  We continue to market it as well as train people to leverage it in their businesses through our Super User Training.  If you haven’t participated in one of these trainings yet, please stay tuned and sign up when the next one comes available.  I am also very thankful for my fellow board members and committee chairs for their time and effort this year in advancing our organization.  Participation and engagement in our association is more important now than ever as we face these challenging times head on, but the good news is that our disciplines are best positioned to succeed in this environment so our future continues to look bright.  We will continue to get through this together.
