ARRA Board Meets Virtually for Fall 2020 Meeting

On October 21, 2020, the Asphalt Recycling & Reclaiming Association’s (ARRA) Board of Directors met virtually for their Fall Board Meeting to review and conduct business of the association.

With ARRA being financially healthy, the Board reviewed the draft budget for 2021 and discussed what 2021 will look like after the pandemic impacted year of 2020.

As ARRA continues to engage the CORE Committees, the Board approved a motion to approve a new committee policy. The policy states that each CORE committee will consist of a Chair, and co-chair or vice chair and will have one representative from each member company which will be an official committee member, however, all committee meetings will remain open for anyone to attend. In addition, a new Marketing Committee will be developed. This new policy will be implemented at the 2021 Annual Meeting.

The Board also reviewed the current ARRA representatives on the Pavement Preservation & Recycling Alliance (PPRA) Synergy Leadership Team for Roadresource.org. ARRA has four representatives which include the President, Vice President, Past President, and a Member at Large who is currently ARRA’s Technical Director.

The next ARRA Board Meeting will be held in February 2021.
