Registration for this fall’s ARRA Semi-Annual Meeting will open next month and features a great program, planned to inform and educate as well as take advantage of the proximity of some local projects and attractions. We hope you will join us as we bring our membership together with key industry stakeholders in Norfolk, Virginia on October 15th-18th, 2018, to build from the great success of meetings in Auburn and Minneapolis in the last two years.

With support provided by the Federal Highway Administration and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), the group will travel through and learn about processes being utilized in the I-64 construction project. The tour provides a first-hand example of the use of cold central-plant recycling and full depth reclamation, featuring narration and information provided by VDOT. The tour will move on to the CCPR plant working on the project, where attendees will view a demonstration of the processes being utilized on the I-64 project.

Highlighting the coastal Norfolk area with its naval ties, on Tuesday night meeting attendees will enjoy a tour and reception on the USS Wisconsin BB-64 battleship.  The battleship's turret will provide the unique setting for the reception. Before, during, or after, attendees can take a self-guided tour of the ship including exterior areas all the way up to the 03 level and interior spaces including the Officers Wardroom, senior officer staterooms, Public Affairs Office, Dispersing Office, Main Galley and Mess Deck, Weapons Office, Master-at Arms Office, Machine and Valve Shops and much more!

Following up on his informative and crowd-pleasing keynote on "Values-Based Leadership" at the 2018 AEMA-ARRA-ISSA Annual Meeting, Virginia-based Mark Fernandes is back to keynote the Semi-Annual Meeting, speaking on "Humanizing Business," actualizing the limitless potential and performance capabilities of the workforce. An Inc. Magazine "Top 50 Leadership Innovators Changing How We Lead", Fernandes has also been listed as one of Inc.'s Top 100 Great Leadership Speakers as well as a Top 75 Human Business Champion by Switch & Shift.
