 USS Wisconsin Battleship Tour & Reception

 

A reception and tour aboard the USS Wisconsin BB-64 battleship rounds out the Tuesday meeting activities!

Join us in the battleship's turret for cocktails and drinks.  Before, during, or after, take a self-guided tour of the ship including exterior areas all the way up to the 03 level and interior spaces including the Officers Wardroom, senior officer staterooms, Public Affairs Office, Dispersing Office, Main Galley and Mess Deck, Weapons Office, Master-at Arms Office, Machine and Valve Shops and much more! 

Tour Guides will be stationed throughout the ship for any questions you may have.

Entering through the Nauticus Maritime Museum, the USS Wisconsin is an easy .7 mile walk from the Sheraton.  A hotel shuttle will also be available.

I-64 Virtual Tour & Workshop

With extensive use of full depth reclamation and cold central plant recycling, VDOT's I-64 project exemplifies the utilization of ARRA disciplines.  To this end, on Wednesday, attendees will experience an in-depth look at Virginia DOT's I-64 Project via drone tours of both the CCPR plant and project site, and an outdoor workshop highlighting project stages.  This workshop will include hands-on demonstrations that will offer an unique experience not offered anywhere else.
